Friday 23rd December, 2017.

From: Krobea Asante Tofepa Ntomentwene, Executive Coordinator for DSWAG.

My regards to you Ambassadors of Drink Safe Water Advocacy Group, especially from the high ranks of the Chairmanship to heads of coalitions, all protocols and members observed.

Nana Ampem (Left) and Krobea (Right)

Merry, Merry, Merry Yuletide!!!

I must reiterate that, you have been wonderful on this platform that seek to attain safe water, sanitation and hygiene for sustainable development.

It’s not been easy, however you decided to stay and contribute your quota to the vision and aspirations.

Having played a major role in discussions and brainstorming of the way out to curb the menace of filth in our beloved country, I on behalf of Ghana, say thank you for your support.

However, I must reiterate that we began our journey on 1st of July, 2017 from Krobo Odumase in the Eastern region with 14 members only.

Today, we have grown and still growing everyday to the present, more interesting now is our feel all over 10 regions of the country.

From every nook and cranny of Ghana and even beyond, we have made remarkable strives, and as at filing of this piece, advocacy not here alone but also abroad due to the sophisticated nature of media with our team.

May I undertake to mention not all but few names that have made it possible to our present destination, solid as a rock and always making us feel the urge to move on with funds or not.

Our able Chairman, Mr. Issaka Amon Kotei, a local governance expert, Madam Hilda Huaji Agric extension officer and of Women in Agriculture Development, WIAD, Mr. Daniel Alimoh of the Wondrous Love Foundation who is Head Of Committees, Mr. Fred Amui Tei, Vice to him, Nana Ampem Gyeke Darko Samuel, C. E.O of Power Africa Multimedia, Madam Victoria Mamley, Ambassador, Mrs. Elizabeth Addo, Halidas Dasmani in the Upper East region representing us from that far end, Mr. William Addo Nuertey.

I am also grateful to all media collaborating with us, and daily giving us the opportunity to express our little thoughts that tends to relegate the present awful situation to good, we could not have reached out to our many targetted citizens.

Not to mention all, but cannot let 2017 pass without my comment, ‘you do all’ to Goodlife, Fawe, Ahotor, Unity, Life, Rite, Noplas, News Afrika Online, Kasapa, Kingdom, Eastern, Obrempong, KW, Ahomka, Okwahu, Okyeman FM,  in fact about a 101 to add.

I beseech you to continue the good works, never leave this advocacy on sanitation and safe drinking water, it’s our life and cannot be short exchanged for anything.

Even though, we have had instances where people exit the platform of discussion and spread of the good message, God has always brought us new people who have the spirit of moving on no matter how our challenges have described us.

“Together we stand, divided we fall”, let’s remember that, all our actions today are credited to making the present earth and home a better place for generations that will come after us, your name is born to do and win, filth cannot destroy us, for we have all the might to forge ahead, we carry the strength of the eagle and gradually flying into 2018.

As we approach a new year, it is my fervent prayer that, new ideas, skills and capabilities abound you in order to bring on board, all good tidings of 2018 and even years to come after.

Ghana shall be clean but with whom? Thank you for knowing its you and I and not anyone else.

Let’s continue to spread the message, yes Ghana hears us when we speak, little drops of water they say, makes a mighty ocean, it does matter to change the mindset of just one person today or tomorrow about pollution.

In 2030, the world we want must come with our actions and commitments to nation building, health is the basis for growth and development and this is reason why you must not relent on what we stand for.

To this end, say to your self, I am a proud member of Drink Safe Water Advocacy Group, DSWAG.

DSWAG, ‘Building Communities, Solving Water and Environment Challenges in Peace through Partnerships”.

My Ambassadors and Executives, if you say a prayer, do remember me as I will today until celebration time for our success, look forward for you to make a wish for this noble group in the impending 2018 administrative year.
